Office 2013 Professional Consumer Preview



Someone is being rather busy lately that the guy has not been updating his page.

Done with the final exam I rushed back from Kuala Terengganu to my hometown in Sungai Petani as I have not return home since the semester began and day after, I need to be in KL City for 3-month internship program.

Think I'd just save the story on my next log in as for now, what we have here? The most anticipated product - Microsoft Office 2013.

Windows 8 Consumer Preview

February 29, 2012 - Windows 8 Consumer Preview was launched by Microsoft. Later that night I downloaded the ISO file from the official Microsoft's website.
 
Surprise. Though it wasn't for commercial release but it has been downloaded more than a million within the first 24 hours.

The most obvious changes made for this version is the fancy Metro-style interface - a typography design language created by Microsoft for Windows Phone platform.

Video LAN Client (VLC) Now Reaches 2.0

Few days ago, on 20th February to be exact, VideoLan and VLC development team has released the major update for the media player. VLC 2.0 codenamed 'Twoflower' is a multi-platform media player that supports most Audio and Video formats.

It's been a while since I last posted. I wrote about viruses before in my entry Virus is Fun dated 8 January 2009. That was like 3 years ago when I started mobile blogging (moblogging) and the entry as well, focuses on the mobile platform.
